Sony Bravia KD55X8509C Help

I have the Sony Bravia KD55X8509C 2016 version

On Monday morning it was doing a software update and something happened, and we now cant get it to come out of standby mode

We have done a power reset but no luck, we do get the four android logos coming up briefly after a power reset but it wont do anything else.

Any help on this one guys

One thing to try is to force the TV into safe mode, in case one of the applications is causing the start up issue :-

There is also another trick that will require a usb stick with the latest update file for the tv unzipped to a fat32 formated usb. This will try to do a forced update.

Remeber to format the USB stick to FAT32 and make sure nothing else is plugged into the tv that is USB only the recovery stick with the latest android update for the TV.

• If this doesn't work, try downloading the software from the Internet (unzip the file to an empty USB key). A "*.PKG" file should be visible in the root of the USB key
• Insert the USB key in the highest USB slot (for example USB 3)
• If that fails, try again using another USB key and a new downloaded version of the software
