Sony Disk2Phone problems

Got a W810i and the latest version of disk2phone but it crashes when i try to convert the MP3`s to a lower quality bitrate (have to use Cdex instead) and then have to change all the tags to all the same artist and album.

Is there any easier way of doing this seems the long way around?

Only just got the w810i myself. I find just dragging and dropping from wherever your music is into the MP3 file on the memory stick much faster and easier. Not sure what it does to the 320kbps files but they still play/sound the same :o .
 
Dragging them onto the phone is an option, but 320kbps is overkill for a phone - just uses up space.

@OP: Are you using the latest version of D2P? The old one was known for being unbelievably buggy.

Ill try missing out the disk2phone stage and just decrease the bit rate and change the tags :)

Using the latest version which is ment to be vista compatible but I guess not with vista 64 :rolleyes:

Yep including removing registry entries and deleting the folder ..same problem,

Ill try ditching disk2phone and see how it goes :)
