Hi believe it or not I have tried Sony support but with no success so thought it worth a go on here….
I bought a Sony DSC P92 a few years back and It’s always been well looked after, in fact its not been used a lot in that your probably talking a combined time of a few hours actual use.
Anyway in 2006 it was sent back to Sony for a CPU problem. This was fixed under warranty but unfortunately when I got it back I fired it up took a few pics and boxed it again. But when I went to use it later on in 2006 I had this problem
No matter if I buy brand new batteries, brand new Sony rechargeable or make sure the batteries that came with it are charged and checked on a separate meter the Camera lasts about two minutes before the wee battery symbol on the Camera back screen tells me my batteries are low in power then it auto shuts down..
I know the batteries are fine and the camera is fine to take pictures if it stays on.
Any idea on this , can you even switch this option off?
I do know you have an internal battery would this cause this problem if it was dead?
going to give it one last year then a Dig-SLR
Thanks.
Stew.
