I have an ageing Sony A200, which I bought on a bit of a whim, with kit lens and a Minolta prime.
Now, one of my cousins swears by Sony DSLR's, and I can't quite remember why, he says something like they are the only brand to do something clever with the camera internals and that's why he buys them.
Personally, I fancy a move over to Nikon as I just prefer the feel and the shots that they take off the bat. I used to have to work the Sony hard to get a decent shot.
Am I nuts? This isn't a hobby, I just like to occasionally take out the DSLR and take some shots, holidays, baby, dog, stuff like that.
