my seus says I have the latest. I went back to stock as well, wierd. Trying pc companion now

PC companion isnt live at the moment, SEUS is though, I was on Sony Ericsson X10i_2.1.B.0.1_CUST-DE GENERIC 1235-7836 if it helps.

Edit, First impressions, well it looks the bloody same as wolfs rom lol, and its sluggish at the moment, i suspect its building the cache and all that rubbish, overall its ok though.

Yea visually the same, obviously a few little things are different, like the keyboard works, and full camera working + others.

Si, pretty much every generic rom has been able to update so far, If yours still wont find the above rom i used and flash it flashtool, 100% works on that one.

Probably the same yea, one thing to note, its no where near smooth enough for my liking, home screen and the launcher just seems notchy is the way to describe it.

Im thinking its a bit lumpy too. But I think it may still be caching. See how it goes, I can backup this and go back to wolfs 9 if I dont get on with it

Thats what i was thinking, anywho, Wolf has confirmed he will be working on tweaking GB once we get root, hopefully he can make something good out of it.

Edit...some speculation that when its released in your specific are, like the UK for us, we should reflash as apparently its optimized for that area...frankly i call bull on that as how on earth can they optimize every single european country + the USA, its a little odd, so take it with a pinch of salt...As at the moment everyone has the same build number, same kernel, same BB, so i highly doubt it.

Are there different versions of generic UK handsets? Mine says it has the latest software...

Are you sure yours is a Generic firmware and not the Carrier based ones, such as Voda, Orange and all that...As the carriers will not get the GB update only the generic firmware units will get it (which i might add you can do yourself)
