hi, i have this tv connected dvi to the hdmi input and for 18 months have had to resize my desktop to fit the outer edge stuff onto the screen,however i finally found out(yes i know it took a long time)by changing the picture setting pixel option to full i am now able to use the native res of 1920x1080,

the only downside is that the black text looks more like a grey colour.

does anyone have any ideas why this is so and if there is a fix?

Deuce found this in a search,thanks very much it solved my problem,and i was able to tell someone else.

If you have windows 7 installed try ClearType Text Tuner it's built in.
