Sony KDL42W705 faulty

Hi guys, first off. I don't know where the receipt to the TV is which is a pain as I just moved house and think I lost it in the process.

There is a chance its a couple of months out of warranty as well and wanted to know if anyone had an idea of how much it would cost to repair.

The TV model is in the title.

The problem I have is lots of lines going from the right hand side to the centre of the screen. They go horizontally.

Any help would be great thank you.

You won't get it replaced/repaired without a form of proof of purchase. If you had it I would call Sony and argue you would expect a premium product made by Sony to last longer than it had.

I did the same with a Bosch washing machine left than a month out of warranty and it was fixed after a bit of discussion.

I've been looking over my transactions on my bank and there is a possibility that I may have bought it in December. If so then I would be covered. Going to dig deeper and hopefully I will be able to exchange it and put some money towards a better model
