Sony launching PS3 Essentials budget range

Sony has announced a discounted range of popular games titled PS3 Essentials.

The new range coincides with the announcement of a new PS3 Slim model earlier today.

Games featured as PS3 Essentials are expected to retail for around €19.99 EUR. A selection of titles will also be available to download from the PlayStation Store for around €14.99.

budget ranges just seems an outdated concept now, things just drop in price pretty quickly anyway.

You could pick most of them up for less than a tenner off mm or second hand at asda/game or anywhere else that does trade ins.

that's euros it works out to about £16
