Not at £50 a pop they dontJoebob said:Any company who has been loyal to Sony is bound to reconsider their strategy as, due to the PS3's delayed launch and manufacturing problems, the 360 has 10,000,000 willing customers just waiting to part with their cash whilst the PS3 has only just broke the half mil barrier. It makes good business sense to release on as many formats as possible to maximise profits.
I can't see why this is such a big deal?
That also implies that every single X360 is still in use and has games bought for it which is certainly not gaurenteed.
I personally am all for software only being available on one format - after all the market is big enough for two equally successful units , so why not have one format traditionally good at some types of game and another format good at something else , its lasted this long....15 or 20 years ...like this why not longer?
