This weeks PSN Euro update info has been released IGN said that the demo should hit all territories simultaneously.

The following content will be uploaded onto the Euro PSN store on Thursday 26th July:

PS One games:
- Crash 2
- Spyro 2
- Medievil
- Wipeout 2097

PS3 Demos:
- Heavenly Sword

PS3 Trailers:
- Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction
- GT5 Prologue

Wipeout 2097 i loved that game! All good stuff i think any way I cant wait !Seems like Sony has decided that they have a Euro PSN store so it may give it a some goodies!

Sorry if this is common knowledge but can't the PS3 play original PS1 games only PS2?

I own quite a range of both original PS1/PS2 titles but no PS3 as last I heard was that overall backwards compatibility was limited on the euro PS3 due to emulation hardware removal. Is this still an issue?

These are downloadable games that can be purchased from the PSN store that you can use on both your PS3 and PSP. The BC of the PS3 is improving all the time Its at about 88% of all PAL games at present, though some still have few issues. This does improve at random firmware updates though, It is sometimes mentioned sometimes its not.

Cheers, just the price to get my head around then a nice new shiny PS3 will be mine... mwhahaha

This is not up to date as some have been fixed to work now, best bet is to ask anyone who has the game and PS3 to see if it works.
