Sony MDR-V600

so im looking for new headphones, so none of the headset type realy rock my boat so will just use a clip on mic (recomendations please) and looking at mid priced head sets these look to have what i want 5-3000Hz @45 Ohm.

any one used them?

Avoid the V600.

Get the Sony MDR-V6 or Sony MDR-ZX700 instead.

If the V600's are anything like the V500's, and going by comments on Head-Fi, they are, then they are crap.

I had some V500's, and it's only when I bought a pair of Goldring DR150's, I realised how poor the V500's actually were.

thanks for the input am looking at the MDR-ZX700 now.

thought the v600 was a upgrade to v6? just dont like the look of the v6, or the dr150 (style over substance i know)

Don't know TBH. If the V600's are an upgrade, then Sony ****ed up.

Either 7506's or V6's are said be great phones by many.

Evidence, that while Sony can make some really good products, they can also make some **** as well.
