Sony NWA-3000 - getting my music back

What has everyone used to get their music back from their player?

Apparently mine has to be formatted before I can put any music on it using the latest sonic stage. :mad:

Any other decent programs out there that work on this MP3 player? To put music on and take music back off it.

Just connected mine to my PC for the first time in like 2 months and I noticed a folder on it called 'music' that has a load of songs on there some of which I have never put on my MP3 player and I dont even have on my PC at the moment.

Ive also go songs that Ive never heard of in my life.

for example Karsh Kale - One Step Beyond - some techno song :confused:

and Luciana Souza - Muita Bobeira - some random latino song. :confused:

The songs that you found on it probably came with the player - I remember a few with my NWA-1000 (smaller capacity version of NWA-3000).

I've also been wanting to take songs off the mp3 player but with no luck using Sonicstage. The program Vegetarian found was interesting so I checked it out, but on one of the stages it asks you add the crack files using (in my case Sonicstage), but Sonicstage wouldn't recognise the player. I think it noticed that there was the new folder on the player entitled as "backup", but I just didn't take the chance messing around with it and restored it to its former glory.
