Got one of these little things last week, along with some very cheap second hand titles, and a 1gb memory card 
This is my first handheld. I'm a fairly hardcore PC gamer who wanted a bit of arcade fun on the side. I'm not home much, so I figured a 360 or ps3 would be wasted on me until prices drop a bit more.
I must admit i'm very impressed!
-It's like gaming heroin - just turn on and play away, simple and exactly what I wanted. Game are pretty addictive.
-Movies will come in handy for flights and long journeys - the screen is nice and big.
-Portable wifi is wicked! Internet on the go
It's excellent for the size of it. Graphics are simple enough, but way more than adaquate for the 4 inch screen.
Possibilities for homebrew etc, although I might not bother.

just purchased a 4gb memory card and spare battery for when I go on holiday, still hard to get used to the controls, its hard for those with big hands!
