Sony STRDH790 problems with the display pls help

Hi,
The display on the Sony STRDH790 is not showing. Does anyone know how to get it back? I have tried resetting the amp,but it does not work. Everything still works fine

I take it you've made sure that Pure Direct mode or whatever Sony call it is switched off, and then you've checked the manual for any sort of dimmer setting for the display?

Hi,
Yes check all dimmer settings.

Might ask Amazon for a replacement as I only bought it May this year.

It's not an Eco setting, is it?

Grab the pdf manual from Sony's Web site. Use the 'find text' function in whichever pdf reader you're using. Do a search for some key words such as display or dimmer etc.

If still no joy then yes, Amazon for a replacement.

Thanks for the reply. I dont think it's on eco mode. Tried resetting the amp a few times,but nothing.
