Sony Vaio AR51M and Linksys WAG300N Problems

HI guys. I've just taken delivery of a new laptop which has the intel WiFi link 4965AGN built in wireless.

My problem is i can't get it to connect to the router wirelessly. I have the router sat about 2ft away, all the wireless is turned on, set to no security so it would be easy to make a connection but the laptop says it can't find any wireless network, or picks up the BT homehubs in houses around me.

If anyone can help me out here i'd very much appreciate it, i've been tearing my hair out for 2 hours trying and am stumped.

Head over to the Linksys official forums. I have read that the Intel 4965AGN chipset has problems connecting to this particular router. I used to have the 300N router with a linksys draft N wifi pciama card and it was rock solid
