Sony vaio upgrade help

Hey there peeps i have a sony vaio laptop. I want to install a ssd do i need to buy an adapter for it if so which one alsp what ram is good for laptop or will work on a laptop thanks

What is the spec of laptop and if your laptop had drive is serial ATA then you pick any SSD and this will slot straight in.

If your current disk is SATA then a SSD will fit.
