sony vaio xp install

is it possible to install xp on a sony vaio vgn-fw21m. it came with vista but need xp installing x32. but cant find any drivers . please help if any1 knows if u can.

hiya thx for the link. my problem is when i use my xp disk even slipstreamed with service pack 3 i get blue screen. even tried installing sata drivers in slipstream. this laptop is a nightmare to instal windows xp.

get into the bios and see if theres an option to switch sata from AHCI to Compatibility mode (the names of these may be different lol, I'm going on what I can remember from a Toshiba lappy)

Do sony lock down the bios on these laptops at all? This setting might also be hidden under a RAID option??

only options in bios r password protect and change time date boot from and thats all there is.
