I have a pair of HVR-Z1E camcorders, and am looking to make them more stable during a hand-held shoot. The official shoulder brace accessory is £250, which takes the mick more than slightly - I thought £50 for the XL1 shoulder pad was asking enough, but it's not too unreasonable. £250 however for a plastic base, a pad, and two metal bars totally is. Does anyone know if non-Sony parts are available for these at a reduced cost, and are there any models which people can recommend?
