Hey all,

I have just got into using Sony Vegas and all is going well... But i have come across a problem...

Basically whenever i encode an Uncompressed AVI and insert it into Vegas it won't load the Video, the preview remains Black and the Audio is stuttered...

I have read somewhere that if you insert the AVI into VDub and the save it as AVI again it will work, however i am not on my home Computer to try this, and i was wondering if any of you guys have had this issue and resolved it?

Thanks in advance...

I edit TF2 Clips,

So use PLDX Recorder to create the .TGA's and then Encode them into Uncompressed AVI's via an "Encoding Panel" which is just a basic encoding program i think...

And no, it has not worked in the past...

Do the AVI files play ok prior to importing them into Vegas? Is there an update for Vegas perhaps? (im sure it should support this facility even at the most basic version however).
