Hey guys,
Before anyone says, my perfectly "legitimate" copy of sony vegas would cost me £300 to buy. This is unrealistic and expensive and this software is essential for what I want to do.
I have been trying to render a 1 min long video in 1080p which I recorded with FRAPs at 120 FPS with custom settings; 1920x1080, high profile, allow source to adjust frame size, 29.970000 FPS, none progressive scan, 10,000,000 max bps, 8,000,000 min bps, render using open cl, 48,000hz, 384,000 bitrate.
However I find the preview of the render to be distorted and after a few seconds I get this error;
Problem Description
Application Name: Vegas Pro
Application Version: Version 12.0 (Build 670) 64-bit
Problem: Unmanaged Exception (0xc0000005)
Fault Module: C:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas Pro 12.0\FileIO Plug-Ins\mcmp4plug2\mc_cpu\mc_enc_avc.dll
Fault Address: 0x000007FEDAE9DB7F
Fault Offset: 0x000000000004DB7F
Fault Process Details
Process Path: C:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas Pro 12.0\vegas120.exe
Process Version: Version 12.0 (Build 670) 64-bit
Process Description: Vegas Pro
Process Image Date: 2013-07-16 (Tue Jul 16) 10:59:48
(When rendering onto my SSD and HDD)
I used to get an error referring to a FRAPs .dll but not any more and I still have FRAPs installed.
I have an AMD 7950 OC'ed 1100 core and 1500 memory, a i7 3770k OC'ed 1.25v 4.5GHz this may not be stable.
I have the 13.8 catalyst driver and a ffcshow codec pack.
I have tried run as administrator, reinstalling, run in windows 7, run in vista, I have tried vegas pro 11 and rendering in internet HD 1080p and still nothing works.
I am going to try and add more voltage to my CPU but before my system format I was running at this voltage.
Thanks.
EDIT: 1.255 still doesn't work. Going to try 1.3v and stock on GPU and CPU.
EDIT 2: At 1.26v my render managed to complete. Going to have to find out why it needs more volts all of a sudden...
