A few people have reported the same problem. Several have spoken to Sony who have taken more details so that they can look into it.

Is your GF also on Virgin?

Read that so wrong lol

Anyway have you tried resetting the internet connection at your house and trying again. I've been having Virgin issues ever since theyve been doubling thier internet speeds around here.

Hi thanks for the help guys think im just going to rid of it not worth the trouble and time i have spent trying to get it to work

You could do that, Alternatively, Log into your router and Create a DMZ zone for the Vita's IP address. See if that fixes the problem.

It's very easy to do on Virgin

I'm a little surprised that you're selling it for something that's either solvable or just a temporary sever issue. But each to their own.

There's a few Virgin customers complaining of the same thing on the net.

Now I'm no sleuth, but given Virgins known for over aggressive traffic shaping and generally messing around with the data that passes through their servers I'd say it was something to do with them as nobody else has this problem.

Op I'd advise a new isp instead of trying to buy equipment and selling it because your crap isp nerfs it.

On the other hand sell it, the less whiny crybabies on PSN the better my eardrums will be.

dmz does not work up for sale now

Are you serious. Your going to sell your Vita jjust because you can't download something on your internet. If it works at your girlfriends house have you thought it's not the Vita thats at fault and is in fact your internet connection!!!!

You've had it almost a week and your giving up on something that isn't even the Vita's fault. Or are you just trolling the forums for attention? Weird to say the least

I think you're being drastic by selling it because of a simple server issue that virtually every new hardware releases suffer from. What you describe is a classic case of server overload.

Give it a couple of days.

I feel he's attention seeking. Oh no please don't leave us syndrome. All he needs to do is go round to his "girlfriends" where it works perfectly and his problem is solved lol
