One of the highlights from MWC 2012 (think of it as a 4" SGS2 clad in aluminium)

Yeah, that's what I was thinking...
Seems like a really good all rounder for a decent price, hope the battery life's decent. I think it has USB on the go out the box, so loosing the SD card slot is less painful.

Is the mail the MP version?

I think it has only 2 GPU cores? The modem is fully integrated so there's less space for a big GPU. Leaked benchmarks looked good and only a bit slower than the Adreno 220.

The camera should be similar in quality to something like the iPhone 4S and not far off the Xperia S (it has all the same features)

Only about £50, the P has a more expensive body (The S was designed before they switched to a fixed battery and no SD card slot, the whole plastic back cover still comes off :p)

Oh good news, 2012 Xperia phones now have a CTIA 3.5mm jack, just like everyone else :D All 3rd party headphone sets will work now.

Yep, cracking phone for £300. Shame they've crippled storage options like the One S :(

Gotta laugh at the Verge, the dude installed a task killer and didn't uninstall mcafee! Android noob? No wonder he was complaining about software :D The screen isn't IPS either. I'd take the solid 2.3 Sony UI over buggy Sense 4.0 every day of the week (NXT UI looks damn good too)
