Finishing a game in 2 sittings, bloody hell! It's a rarity that I will ever finish a game, let alone in two sittings over two days!

The last game I played until the end was half life and that was over a much bigger time span than two days... I just found bioshock so addictive!

What a brilliant game is all I can say & with that ending, it looks like I'll have to play it all the way through again as I think there's an alternate ending :)

Best game I've ever played.

We need more games like this. Bioshock was a great take on an old gameplay style. Things like pikmin (A nintendo RTS game, the only one that works on a console due to its unique methods) are also a step in the right direction.

All we need now is a Wii version of that and Starcraft 2 and all will be dandy, well sort of.......

I liked the ending too. The would you kindly bit was excellent and very well done.

.

If the only difference between Harvesting or saving is a 3 or 4 minute ending clip, then I will continue saving them and watch the other ending on youtube.

Its a great idea to have different paths but to really add replay they should have slightly/different levels.

For my money its not really worth going through the game again just for a different ending.

KOTOR this game aint ;)

StarCraft 2 \o/

I'd still demand an online smash bros and mario kart on the wii even if it's just to hear the whingebags on here moan about "cheaters" as I beat them silly with snaking, wavedashing and L-cancelling.

If you harvest them you get twice as much adam.... that's why I harvested.

Yuk KOTOR...

Atleast with Kotor when you chose an alternate path it changed your style of play and upgrades. The story too.

With this game all that changes is you hit X instead of Y and a few minutes of ending cut story.

I'm enjoying the game because of the atmosphere and the bits that make me jump. For replay though I dont see a few minutes of ending is worth 15 hours of game time doing exactly the same thing.

Surely it wouldve been better to have cut the upgrades and plasmids in half and only made certain stuff available depending on which path you walked.

Its a decent enough game but I dont think the alternate option was thought out enough, more of a gimmick to add replay value when there is no multiplayer.

replayability is dictated by yourself rather than the game forcing you down a set path. Why not use different plasmids the next time through? or different weapons and ammos. i know i barely used the chemical thrower and crossbow so im going to try those more, also might use the gene tonics to do more wrench bashing.

Did anyone else notice the bug when fighting the end boss :(, if you stay in the doorway he doesn't attack..

I've been playing it on and off, on the hardest setting, as I want to make it last, so far it has lasted well - on the bit where you have to take photos for some artist bloke at the mo.

Scort.

Always seemed to attack me:(, just started playing it again but this time instead of harvesting...ill be saving and also didnt get the historian achievement so am going back through the levels to see where i missed some. Think i might have missed 2 max as it wasnt that difficult to find all the other ones.

BTW has anyone got all the achievement for the research bit??, i dont really get that...i mean what do you take pics of to get the achievements??..i know you photgraph the splicers, LS and BDs and what have you but after taking pics of all of them ive yet to get any achievements...anyone know exactly what to do??.

You need to fill the camera research meter up 4 times for all the inhabitants incl. little sisters, BDs and Elite Bouncers. You also need to take pictures of Turrets, Cameras and Bots to complete your research. You don't get individual achivements for these so it's easy to miss them.

I liked it but it was far too easy from about the 2nd level onwards. My guy nearly always had full money, ammo, health. Had everything could possibly get plasmid wise that was any use. Never used the bolts or chemical thrower other than for a laugh.

All the wrench plasmids turned my guy into some invicible nutter with the health sucking, freezing, x2/+50% extra damage/+research bonus etc. The last boss was also rediculously easy. 99% of the time lightning + wrench did the job, only other time I used weapons was for the big daddies.

I really liked it overall but I didn't think it was as good as System Shock 2 or Deus Ex.

Ahh right cheers, ill have to make sure i do that this time around..didnt realise that you had to take pics of turrets, cameras and bots to complete the research.

Cheers for that info mate:).
