This seems to be destorying my pc and i cant kind out why, its not the worse spec

8600 GT <- plays Bioshock on high

2 gig of ram

Do you think another 2 gig of ram would do anything ?

I actually really, really like this game. I find it highly addictive more than CS atm, only playing demo though. So I might buy the game, not sure whether to buy it on dvd rom or through steam.

Can try setting drivers to single display mode , that's meant to help for some people. If it still bad , then join the queue. There is a big thread of the official forums about performance. Loads of people get bad performance it seems , soon as there is any action , say bye to your fps
