soooo uplay! help please

first off i will start with a small amount of rage i absouletly hate uplay and this experience really has put me off ever buying a ubisoft game ever again the forums are useless only reply u get is put in a ticket to technical staff from which u get no reply...

anyway seems i have bought this junk i do wish to play sadly u play wishes for me not to and we wonder why piracy is so rife with such awful programs to prevent it! considering it uses steam why oh why do i have to use uplay! or should i say udontplay!

anyway i have driver sanfrancisco which i bought in the steam sales i have verified the game cache everytime i try to start the game it says"unable to start the geam.please check that your game has been installed correctly.if the problem persists plaease contact ubisoft support. yet it works in safe mode!!!
any ideas fine people of ocuk?
 
Do as I did for AC3 recently as I got utter fed up with uplay asking me to update, check update, then force another update as the updater tried for the 1000th time to check AC3 for a patch, then tell me I'm offline, go online..

Grrrr downloaded a crack, doesn't even touch uplay now, and I can enjoy my game that I purchased without silly nosense like this..

Before I get jumped on, uplay is good when it works, but recently since i've installed AC3, it attemps to update a lot, even if the game I run is updated..

Far Cry 3 was another, 1.04 patched, then attempted to patch again? What? Another one I obtained a crack for, how stupid is this?

Yet many have no issue with uplay, figures..!! Guess we aren't all that lucky eh? I paid good money for Far Cry 3 and AC3 from UBI soft as I didn't think both these games were coming to Steam, anyhow doesn't matter as they aren't steamworks games anyhow and need this uplay rubbish, I just wanted to play the games I paid money for lol
