Soprano and fan controller

I've been wondering about getting a fan controller to plonk in my case, but with these sopranos, you don't get much room behind the door, the drives lay flat inline with the plastic behind the door, not leaving much space to work with.

Just wondered if anyone here has a soprano and a fan controller that fits with the door shut, just so i know whats available and fits.

I know the chances are slim of someone having one with this case, but it doesnt hurt to ask.

If some dont fit in the door, i think theres some that can go in the pci brackets at the back of the case

Of course it doesnt have the bling factor but it'll still do the job

Yeah thanx for the heads up, but i'm specificly after a front mounted one, i've seen quite a few that i'm about 95% sure will fit, however i have one more thing i need from it. Spare I/O connections, which i read some of the nicer ones have, i'm assuming these are basicly on/off switches for whatver you decide to connect to them, ie. my cathodes.....

The way its looking right now though, to get one that fits and the extra connectors, is a slim chance at best, and i'd be better of buying a cheaper one that fits and getting out the drill for the cathode buttons, just figured i could save myself the work. Guess i could spend the cash on a nice little dremmel and do a good job on the buttons.....

I just thought, you could always push the fan controler back a bit, so it isnt actually flush with the front bays, but back a few mm so the dials have room when the door closes?

Think i'll opt for doing the custom jobby. I have smart fans anyway.

I have a Soprano case and have just fitted a vantec fan controller, the door does close but there is a bit of resistance, meaning that I don't think it closes quite as much as it should do without the fan controller, but I don't find that a problem.

***** (sorry can't say name, forum rules) sell some nice switches, so i'll proberly buy a few switches for the cathodes and fit them into the 3.5 drive bay.
