Hi,

I have a few HD files on my PC I'm wanting to watch. I've been watching them so far on a Samsung SM2233BW Cream 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor, but it's not the quality i was expecting. I've been looking at getting a Samsung T220HD 22" Widescreen LCD Freeview Monitor to use as dual screen.

Will viewing them on the T220HD make it any "better"?

Another question is - i'm using a GeForce GTX 260, is this a HD card? and if not is there a cheap HD Ready card that will do the job?

Apologies if my post is incredibly ignorant of how HD and Monitors in general work!

Please feel free to ask anything if i've missed important info off!

Also hope this is in the correct forum!

Thanks in advance,
Sam

In what way is the quality not what you were expecting? With a 22" monitor there is always going to be some scaling (too high res for 720p hd, too low res for 1080p hd) so it's not ideal.

There's no such thing as "HD" graphics cards, anything that can output hd resolutions is fine (of which the GTX 260 can easily).
