thanks in advance

I'd pick a different motherboard, something P35 based such as the Abit IP35 would be better, both in overclocking terms and more features. I'd dump the IDE hard drive for a SATA one (remember most motherboards now only have one IDE port) and same for the optical drive. Finally I'd go for PC6400, Geil PC6400 C4 is a good price at the moment. :)

semi pro would you mind speccing me something along those lines with the suggested motherboard and drives you mentioned

if you have time that is :)

thanks m8

just an afterthought the memory i choose seems to be faster for not a lot more money is there a huge benefit in choosing that or is the 800mgz stuff just as good really?

I think this includes all you need, the cooler is perhaps a bit harder to fit but it is very good and is probably the cheapest of the top few coolers. I've got no real idea about the graphics card so I've just left your choice. The memory is because there isn't any real benefit for you in getting PC8500 unless you have great cooling and a very good chip, PC6400 could still allow you to get to 3.6ghz with that chip providing that everything works well.
