well after giving up gaming swapping my old dekstop for a laptop I want another desktop

I have a huge budget if needed but really only want to spend £750-£800 all in (tight northern git alert)

for this I need everything, pc, monitor, speakers, kb and mouse and a all in one printer

basically looking for a well balanced pc that will play latest games, run vista (god knows why) and be upgradeable in 18 months time if possible with the speed pc's are moving

dont need masses of storage as dont dload much but would like a decent screen 19"/20"

also forgot to add... not a fanboy so no preference between amd/intel or ati/nvidia just best bang for my buck

your help is mucho appreciated

nope, totally stock

am ok building and even just some suggestions/pointers as wont be buying straight away, waiting to sell house and getting ready for singledom (women grrrrrrr)

The mobo has future CPU support and will take both DDR2 and DDR3. Graphics card is silent and powerful enough for 19" screen and can be easily replaced with DX10 graphics card in the future.

jeez, glad I got rid of my desktop when I did, would be worth 50p now lol

thanks that gives me a good baseline for what I am after

main thing that had me stumped was the mb, cpu, ram and gfx as not sure what would best compliment each other
