I am looking to upgrade my brother's pc for him. He currently has:
A64 3000 (skt 754)
Geforce 4ti 4400
512mb
160gb ide hdd
Unknown psu wattage (350w I think it is)
He has given me a budget of £500 (could be talked into going up to around £550 but that is the max amount). I am basically looking at a base unit only (he has monitor, mouse/keyboard, speakers etc). The machine will be used for gaming (fps (css, hl2), rts (aoe 3), internet usage etc.
I've tried to come up with a spec but I am struggling a bit as there are that many options out there!
Any ideas?
