Hi,

I have a q6600 GO, an ASUS P5N-E motherboard, 2 gig of g.skill HZ ram and a 3870 xt graphics card. Im stuck as 2750 with this mobo which I hear is a very common problem. Id like more from the processor seeing as i'm running it watercooled. What mobo would you choose to futureproof it as much as possible. Should I get an x48 chipset one? Is it worth spending £200 on one (ouch). I'd like to try for 3800-4000 for the overclock..

I would just go for a P35 based board, or maybe one of the X38 ones if you feel the need to spend more money.

Going for an X48 board would be madness tbh.
