I'd probably go for something like this given the budget and your uses, it should also offer a bit of overclocking potential as well.

Thats a nice spec for that price, I am looking at that for myself actually, as I am currently building a new machine for around the same budget. :)
Would that PSU thats supplied with that case be enough for a system like the one above? maybe a adding a couple more small things to it aswell.
Will it also be cool enough during the summer or whatever?

yer the power supply is good enought for it, not sure about the temps tho as this is a small case and I would not like to house a x1900 in it

EDIT: if its the media centre one that i think it is

The sonata case is NOT a media case and will house the x1900 perfectly well. As fas as the PSU goes, then 450W is supposed to be enough for a single card setup, but with the future in mind, not knowing whats around the corner i'd be tempted to say around 500w minimum really.

You never know what the next generation of gfx cards will require in terms of power. (I'm sure it won't be long before they come with their own mains power leads :p

Well before I upgraded again I would buy a top line psu and case so power is not to much of a worry if you think about it like that, but this only needs to last me a few months untill I got more cash then I can splash out, as with my current budget, buying a case like this would mean I could spend more on the cpu and graphics, just an idea.

Yea, whatever you do is completely up to you, we're all just here to make sure you're aware of the correct info and mention things you may not have thought of, before you take the plunge ;)

Yep and I am really happy that I can post any question that comes into my mind and it will be answered, rather then me sit and worry about it, as I tend to worry about things way to much, its a nice feeling. :)
