hi, I was wondering if any of you good people could do me a favour.
basically, I am wondering if there is such thing as a baking starter kit (for cakes), that include things like scales, measuring jug, whisk, sieve, mixing bowl, baking trays, cutters, icing pipe and nozzles.....

thanks in advance :)

Not to be funny but...have you tried googling for "baking starter kit"? I just did and there look to be several results that match what you're looking for :)

its for a friend. they are a bit clueless so thought a kit would be better for them. and I assumed a kit would be cheaper than lots of separates.

A kit would be more convenient and it may well be cheaper but you never know. I've had a few food related kits in the past that weren't the best quality. It might be worth looking at separate items to see what you can get, quality wise, for the same price as the kit.

What's the budget?

thanks, I have passed on the advice of pricing it up as separates, written a list of what I think they will need and sent them out to have a look.
