sorry to make a crap thread but need spelling help,

Sorry guys, I'm at a loss and don't I want to start waking people at this hour by way of ringing them,

How do you spell this (I'll try to write it how it sounds),

curtious/curtyus etc

For example,

She was very curtious/curtyus

This is sending me mad because I've tried a million different variations on google and it can't find the correct word, my built in dictionary also doesn't seem to suggest the right word either, I've checked my hardback dictionary but no good either which means my spelling must be very off on this one, I'm starting to think this word is a figment of my imagination seriously, someone save me !!

Thanks guys your diamond, I can't believe google or even my inbuilt checker didn't suggest it with 'curtious' or curtyus', strange that, I guess it was the 'o' that did it, if I knew it had an 'o' after the 'c' I would have found it in my hardback dictionary but I was looking under 'cu' no 'co', anyway thanks guys.

Yeah, it's done that before with quite a few words I've tried spelling. :mad:

Like I've said many times on here before I rely heavily on spell checkers so if I use a wrong word but it is spelt correctly then sometimes it will slip under the radar, even the spelling of simple words often vex me, it's just the way my brain in wired, it took me until the age of 22 to learn the alphabet properly, even now at the age of 30 I'm still not completely affluent in reciting it, I am fairly adequate when verbalizing what I want to say but transcribing that is a different matter entirely.
