Any 1 know a good program thast simple in the way it shows your running low on RAM so the OS is using virtual memory?
now u can uses task maneger, but in xp im not sure on what to look for!

any tips on what to look out for?

Turn off your page file and windows will tell you that you are running low on memory.

The OS can page out memory anyway so it's not a great indicator that you have insufficient RAM. Task manager is pretty straight forward in terms of actual usage. You might find a better answer in the memory forum.

The OS will always use virtual memory to some extent. You don't really need a program to tell you when you're low on RAM. You'll notice it when your system starts to lag and grinds your hard drive a lot. It's the most annoying hardware bottleneck of all.
