Im very very sorry but my head is buzzzzzzing with all the talk of gfx cards.

Could some one just tell me what card to buy which will give me a nice boost from my 8800 gts 640.

Thats all i ask.

ATI 4870, NV GTX260, 280 or a 9800GX2 (where SLI is supported) would give a reasonably nice improvement right now, the 4870 is arguably the best VFM right now though hence people seem to be jumping on them :)
 
Depending on your budget the GTX280 is the best card on performance, (Look at the Leadtek ones on the website £305+) however based on value for money the 4870 would be the best as it is £179 now i believe and only loses out to the GTX280 by around 10-15%
 
Thx for replys ppl also i have a seasonic 430w power supply i take it the supply is not man enuff for any of them cards ? is this correct or...

I like the look of the ati 4870 at the moment or the gtx260.
