Sort of City building type game

Any suggestions, fancy a City/Economy building type game in real time... n ot Sim City 4 as I have that and its not quite what id like. I dont mind the game having wars included, as long as they dont suck out any of the fun.. ie the wars are stupid.

I think that Annon game looked alright, not sure what its about though... maybe its too indepth for me - anything similar to that, or even is that worth it?

Cities in Motion? It;s not got much of a builder element, it's basically a mass transit simulator.

Anno is fun and looks great

How about Railroad Tycoon II as well, that was always good.

But for the ultimate sim, have a look at Transport Tycoon Deluxe, namely OpenTTD.

hmm I can get it for 9.99 including the Venice pack... might give it a go then.

May be an idea to read the wikia about the basics and farming strategies. Will help quite a lot.
