I thought it was about time I sorted out my water cooling setup. I got the kit for xmas and being my 1st water cooled experience I was very excited to get the kit into the pc! Once finished I was happy I was not watercooled but just wasnt happy with the way it looked, but just never had time to re arrange.

So on to my first attempt:

As you can see a complete shambles if I do say so myself!

So last weekend I went about rebuilding, sorry no progression pics, but I basically shortened the tubing a lot and routed it a different way.

Temps running my 6300 @ 2.8ghz - 35 idle / 40-42 full load

How about turning the rad round and drilling two holes in your case.
That way you remove the long loop to and from the Rad. Will neaten up the back and reduce the loop lenght (with a possable improvement on temps)

Looking much better on the inside - might want to hid the power/reset cables (or braid them) so the uv doesn't make them jump out so much. Oh and get your ram back as before (one stick in each yellow slot) ;)

Always good to see improvement - time well spend by the looks of it, and nice clear pic's too.
Good work :)

The fans on the rad and your exhaust fan for your case will be fighting each other.

Your exhaust is blowing out of your case yet the two ambers are blowing towards it. It might be worth setting the ambers to pull away from the case.

Cheers for the comments so far :)

Changed it so the fans on the rad are helping suck the air through :) Was making an annoying sound with them fighting against each other!

That's a damn good job there - have the temps changed much from the original setup where the loops were longer?

The temps have dropped by a couple of degrees, however I wouldnt say this was from the length of tubes, more the fact there was a huge kink where the cpu & nb was connected!

Its running silent now, before you could hear the pump/bubbles due to the kink.

Just need to get a quiet fan for the gfx now...driving me mad!!

very nice  make's my old thermaltake bigwater 745 look stupid lol, have you checked your temps with the fan's the other way around should be a little lower i would have thought

Thanks for the comments :)

Really would like a new case, but other things come 1st (like buying a house!). Maybe look to change later in the year.

For now though I am happy with it, like I said above, just need to get my gfx card quiet now!
