What the easy and best way to do this on a mac? Where I can do it all within one window being able to see what is in each folder drag them and copy them into different folders etc.

Is Finder the way to do it or is there a app to do it easier and better?

Finder would be best. I don't think there is any apps that will do what you want it to do.

Also, you could use the colour coding for grouping,

Thanks mate i though that would be the case. How handy is this colour coding do you use it?

So you got yourself a Macbook pro then in the end :D shame i did not wait a bit longer and got the new specs ha ha

How do you like it?

Yeah I did, it's brilliant :)

The colour labeling can be quite handy. You could colour label a load of different files from different places in blue, for example, then open a Finder Search (Command + F) Then select kind (Colour label) then select the colour, then it will round up all blue labeled files or folders.
