Sorry i dont understand the terms you are using, i know im on an overclocking forum but im not an avid user so maybe is there a simple way of putting it?
In the bios there is a option called cpu thermal monitor or something like that. It is basically a cpu overheating protection feature. If your cpu gets too hot, it will detect that and your pc will shut down.
