All my user information, files, photo's programs.... everything is gone and when I reboot again it resets the desktop again to a fresh install, I have no idea what the heck is going on as it was all working well last night.

The only thing I've done was try to fix hyperlinks in programs as they had stopped working, but surely that can't be causing this

I'm running a Windows 7 64bit operating system..

Please help!

Just to add I've checked event viewer and it says my user profile can't be loaded (event 1502) possibly due to insufficient security rights or corrupt local profile, what the hell?

As the one above said, your user profile has most likely bought the farm so you should retrieve any important files (you might have to take possession of the folder they're in), create a new profile and kill off the old one.

Look in C:\Users, your files will still be there. Probably broken your profile with whatever 'fix' you used..

I'd create a new profile and move your files into it.

Or restore them from your backup. Because everyone backs up important files, right?
