Is this a good card will be gaming its a very cheap sound card aswell..

Errm, I will use for gaming, and general music.

Also, is it better than my onboard Asrock 939 daul sound? Also will I notice a difference ?

I cant say how it compares to your motherboards sound. But as long as your not paying more than £15 for it; its a decent enough card. Mine did the basics very well (going back two years).

That's a really old card. In all honesty I'd be looking at an Audigy at minimum if I were paying money unless it's the platinum one.

I have the previous version to that, the Soundblaster Live! with digital I/O bracket (DIN, coaxial) and it's fine. Had some problems with COD 2 with EAX enabled, had to change to miles fast. Also have the choice to use built-in Realtek 882, didn't compare "sound quality" use the 882 though because it has digital out (optical) not going to use the SB Live digital coaxial out, as it blows equipment up (6v max!)

Spend £12 and buy an audigy. Onboard sound has come on quite a lot, and you might just end up with a PCI slot filler.

Even the audigy2zs can be had pretty cheap now. Keep a look out on the popular auction site
