i just tried this game on the pc but on options i cant see game-pad settings

is this game only suitable for the keyboard & mouse ?

Pretty sure that would be the case, considering it was made before game controllers became the norm for PC Gaming

Yep, there's a few different ones. Google Pinnacle Game Profiler, that's the one I use.

Amazing game.
Started playing this again myself about a month ago, forgot how vast this game actually is. Found the graphics are slightly too dated looking now though which broke the immersion a little.

Legacy of Kain : Defiance is also a really good game, its a bit newer so looks a bit better. I think it also supports controllers.

Isnt there a tomb raider game with soul reaver characters with it thats top down gameplay and co-op? Could try that too.

Personally tho i never got into sr games, duno why i liked the main character and the soul eating thing but i duno either was too long to get to things or just not linear enough i duno.

I didnt finish this one. I had to re-install windows back in the day & forgot to backup my saves

It's the only one I haven't finished so I might just re-install it.

Blood Omen 2 was really good too & filled the holes in the story quite nicely. It runs perfectly on win 7 x64 too

It's certainly worth playing through Defiance if you didn't get to finish it the first time round as it pretty well ties up Kain / Raziels storyline leaving just enough of a gap for a potential sequel.

I don't actually think we will ever see a sequel as such, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is some sort of reboot at some point in the future. I'd quite like to see the original Blood Omen : Legacy of Kain, re-imagined using a similar engine to Skyrim.

have downloaded xpadder, i have assigned the buttons required , tried the game and the joypad isnt working with the game , probably not doing something , can anybody point me in the right direction , thanks
