Sound annoying me :(

Hey, ive got a set of Logitech X-550's running of onboard audio on an ASUS p5Q pro and they're really starting to annoy me, whenever listening to music, if another sound plays then the music goes quiater and stays that way until about a second after the other sound finishes, not a major problem but really starting to wind me up :mad:

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! its going to drive me nuts! i think ive tried evry setting windows and "realtek hd audio manager" have to offer

You you looked at the settings of your player or tried another one to see if that's the cause?

itunes doesnt seep to have a setting o help

Maby investing in a cheap soundcard would be worth it, the sound differnce on dedicated is just unbelivelbe

agreed, you can get a really cheap sound card that sounds quite good if you dont want to spend.

its not the quality of the sound that i mind its the tendancy to try and keep the volume constant by making certain bits quiater
