Hi,

I'm currently running a set of Kanto YU2 and a Wharfdale powered sub for a 2.1 setup. Due to space constraints I'm looking at the Sound Blaster Katana V2/x as it will sit nicely under my monitor. There's limited height here, so a soundbar naturally fits better. Connecting via USB is preferred too, so there only seams to be the Katana and the Razer Leviathan.

Just wondering if anyone has any feedback, am I likely to feel disappointed or are they going to be roughly comparable? Reviews seem mostly favourable, but sounds is very subjective so I'm a bit sceptical...

I use the Katana V2 and find it absolutely superb for gaming and watching YT etc.
There’s a few others on here that rate it as well.

What do you think? ;)

2.5" drivers in the katana versus 3" on the YU2. Much larger cabinet in the YU2. 80hz ability for the speakers alone.
5.25" / 6" on the Katana subwoofer (small driver, small box high port tube) versus what your Wharfedale sub is
Wider seperation of your speakers, so better stereo imaging.
