Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty not showing/ working.

its not being picked up as a sound device, and ist not listed on the hardware devices!!!

Reinstalled as it was stopping my comp from booting.

Disconnected reinstalled, but still not showing though my Pc will boot just fine.

Is the card faulty?

Got it from here so what do I do's about retuning it, its only a few months old.

Havent tried another PCI slot, all the drivers install fine, although i am currently download the updated ones from the creative website.

Giga DS4

Iwas a fresh install of XP when i did my Conroe upgrade, but today i was installing a Ninga HS, so had to disconnect eveerything so i could work, put it all bacjk exactly as it was, and now the sound card doesnt work.

Ive checked ALL connections and cables 100 times over.

Okay, just tried to install the newer driver and it came up with the notice saying nothing could be detected.

Im really thinking their is a hardware fault now.

Nice one mate, had a wirless internet card in the other slot, so swopped them about.

They bother work just fine now.

hmm all very strange, ive had it for awhile.

Though this is a new MB and all, it was working with it till i had to replace the HSF.

All very strange.

I dont care though ITS WORKING!!!
