I think you have to buy a pack from creative, I could be wrong but I think you need the dts Live/connect pack.

Google for that, should be around 5 dollah.

Hmm, someone else has the same sound card with their Asus board. With his though he has analogue speakers, but he can get no sound from the front speakers.

Have you tried seeing if there are any newer drivers than the ones that came with it?

Got windoes 7, Everything is setup ok got all the latest drivers cant understand why this doesnt work out the box lol,
Just had a little read and i think you are rightabout buying the pack BeeP..
i will look into this more and report back .

When you right click on the Windows volume icon and select Playback Devices, which device has the green tick underneath its icon with the words "Default Device" next to it?

If it is the SPDIF Out, right click the Speakers icon and set it as the Default Device.
Bizarrely, the Speakers need to be the default device for it to work right.

Now, when you right click the Creative Volume Panel, the Dolby/DTS options should be available, if it still not available then it does indeed look like you need the plugin pack.

Does this SupremeFX X-Fi card that comes with the motherboard use Creative's own drivers?
Or are you using an actual Creative X-Fi card?
