Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HELP!!!!!

Hi
Just bought the new Fatal1ty X-Fi titanium pro but for some reason can't get my mic to transmit in teamspeak and in games.
The mic works within the audio software provided with the card but doesn,t transmit in the above applications.
I am running windows XP could any1 please help :mad:

Assuming you've go the games setup properely using press to talk instead of noise activated... Stupid questions usually fix it... Have you got that mic set as default? Tick the 20db gain boxes and increase mic volume just in case...

Yes m8 all teamspeak set up correctly as have been using for years just decided to upgrade sound card done everything you have suggested.
Overclockers advised doing a full system reformat and putting software on after all the drivers been installed seems a very long process to just install a sound card.

have you chosen your soundcard in ts. Go settings, options input device microphone creative

Go to control panel -> sound and audio devices

Make sure all defaults and settings relate to the soundcard. Might be still using the motherboard.
