Hey all,

Am I missing something with this soundcard, I'll be using headphones but I also want to have my desktop speakers connected to it as well, how would the speakers connect?

They have a 3.5mm connector (Creative T40 MKIIs)

Thanks :)

Had the same concerns when I ordered my G6 and can happily confirm that the line in & line out connectors on the rear work well with a standard 3.5mm connection and that my speakers are connected and sounding great with a 3.5mm to phono (RCA) lead.

+1
I have my DT770 plugged into the headphone, modmic into mic and a 3.5 to RCA plugged into my AE AEGO M

Headphone is my main usage and occasionally speakers, so still worth looking at the G3?
In SB X3 you pay considerably for customizable Super X-Fi HRTF.
It basically downgrades D/A converter level down from internal and other external sound cards of that price level and headphone amplifier isn't that much better than in SB Z.

Simple, headphones and mic out front, line/optical out 3.5mm out the back. Switch between either in playback - Output - speakers / headphones.
