Sound buzz - is there a debugging method?

Had sound buzz on the speakers, headphone socket of the motherboard, the works since inception of the beast.

Where do I start in terms of troubleshooting this? Any ideas, suggestions, welcome. Ta.

Make sure that stuff like playback mic through speakers is disabled and you can try turning down or muting playback devices/sources you aren't using.

Ultimately though if its interference being picked up on the integrated audio on the motherboard then its likely to be due to EMI/RF being picked up inside the case i.e. from adjacent power circuitry, etc. and little you can do - which is why some people prefer to use external DACs or soundcards, etc. though no guarantee that solves it.
